Are you a poker fan? Here is what you can play on the net

Especially for this issue, the Mentor Gaming team is happy to present an online poker dictionary featuring the most popular types of poker which are offered by all the major poker websites:

Pai Gow Poker
The purpose of Pai Gow is to get two poker hands out of the seven cards given: a five-card poker hand and a two-card poker hand. The five-card hand should be higher than the two-card hand. The two-card hand is named "in front" or "on top", and the five-card hand is named the "bottom", as they are placed like that in front of the player.
Pai Gow is an enjoyable combination of the Chinese game Pai Gow, and poker. Because of the slow pace, your bankroll can last a long time. It is a relaxing, community game perfect for online poker fans.

Caribbean poker
In this type of poker game, every player places his ante on the table where indicated; all ante wagers must be set before the dealer shouts "No more bets". Each player and the dealer will receive 5 cards, face down. The dealer will lift a card, then push the cards toward the players, after that the players may look at their cards. In Caribbean poker games players may not reveal their hands to any other player.

Video poker - Jacks or Better
This is a casino game based on five-card draw poker. Game play begins by placing a bet of one or more credits and then pressing a "Deal" button to draw cards. The player is then given an opportunity to keep or lose one or more of the cards in exchange for a new card drawn from the same source, after which the machine evaluates the hand and gives payout if the hand matches one of the winning hands in the announced pay structure.

Online poker - Texas Hold'em
Texas hold 'em is the most popular of the community card poker games. It is also the most popular poker variant played in the United States. Although it might virtually be played by up to 22 players, it is generally played between 2 or among 10 people. Texas Hold'em is one of the most situational of all poker types, as the order of betting is fixed in all betting sessions.

If you need some training, don't worry, most of the sites will be happy to train you 1:1 and some will even provide you with tips for cheating your poker colleagues... .
